How can I download ringtones to my mobile?
First of all, you have to possess one of the following Nokia mobile phones: 3210, 3310, 3330, 3410, 3510, 3510i, 5210, 6110, 6150, 6210, 6250, 6310, 6310i, 7110, 7650, 8210, 8810, 8850, 9110, 6510, 8310, 9210. The service is currently available only for these types of handsets!
1. Select the ring tone you would like to download from the collection above. You can check and listen to each ringtone if you click on the link "Sample" beside the title of the given ringtone.
2.Send and SMS message from your mobile to the following number:
06 70 7070707. The format of the SMS body should look like Tone XXX, where XXX is the identification number seen beside the ring tone. For example, if you would like to have the first Vodafone ringtone on your phone, the SMS should contain: Tone 001.
3. Once you have sent the SMS request, you will get back an SMS containing the selected ringtone. You should press the Option button after seeing the message "Ringtone arrived", at which point you have several choices. You can listen to the ringtone by pressing the option Listen. After that you can either save or discard it by means of the Save and Discard options. After saving, the ringtone will be stored in the memory of your phone. If the selected ringtone does not arrive within a few minutes, please check the format of the SMS you sent!
Further information: The service is available only for Vodafone subscribers! The price of the service is the fee of one SMS, but it is not part of the 20 free monthly SMSs provided by Vodafone in some package plans.
